RevOps Data Strategist

Position Overview: We're looking for a RevOps Data Strategist: a hybrid operator-analyst-builder who can align messy revenue data with real business decisions. This role is cross-functional by nature—spanning marketing, sales, customer success, finance, and product. You’ll act as the connective tissue between teams, translating strategic questions into lean data models and actionable insight.

Whether your background is in RevOps, product analytics, analytics engineering, or full-stack data strategy, you thrive in the gray space between systems, metrics, and decisions. You're a generalist with a specialist’s attention to detail—able to reason abstractly about funnel conversion, forecast accuracy, win rate, or bookings logic, then fix the SQL or model behind it.

You’ll spend your time investigating pipeline anomalies, fixing broken dashboards, auditing upstream logic, and delivering a handful of visuals that speak for themselves. You're fluent in tools like dbt, Looker, Snowflake, and BigQuery—and you know when to use each to streamline the path from raw data to executive clarity.

We’re not looking for someone to just make dashboards. We’re looking for someone who sees broken processes and builds pipelines, abstractions, and fixes that last.


Experience

  • Strong SQL fluency; comfort with tools like dbt, Looker, Snowflake, BigQuery, DuckDB, and/or Domo.

  • 3–7 years in data-centric roles: RevOps Analyst, Analytics Engineer, Data Strategist, Revenue Operations, Product Analytics, or Data Engineer.

  • Hands-on experience with CRM and GTM systems like Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, etc.

  • Hands-on experience with revenue workflows: funnel reporting, pipeline tracking, bookings reconciliation, forecast modeling, and win-rate diagnostics.

  • Bonus: experience with API stitching, reverse ETL tools (e.g. Hightouch), billing systems (e.g. Stripe), or workflow automation.

Skills

  • Designing and debugging pipelines across marketing, sales, and CS data.

  • Modeling revenue metrics across funnel stages and forecasting logic.

  • Building semantic layers and dashboards that translate to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Writing, thinking, and visualizing clearly—independent of tools.

Mindset

  • Curious, skeptical, and persistent. You keep pulling until the data makes sense.

  • Detail-oriented but business-minded—you solve for outcomes, not elegance.

  • Fast context switcher who can go from “What is MQL conversion lagging?” to “How is this join being calculated?”


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain visually compelling dashboards tailored to client and team needs.

  • Provide both ad hoc and recurring data analysis to support decision-making processes.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data requirements and translate them into actionable insights.

  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of all delivered analytics.

  • Proactively identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities within datasets.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their objectives and support their data needs.
